Born October 30, 1983, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia, graduated in economics from the Private University of Santa Cruz – UPSA, fluent in English and with a good level on German.

National Senator representing the Department of Santa Cruz for the legislative period 2015-2020 and Secretary of Political Training in Santa Cruz de la Sierra of Demócratas, the main political opposition force in Bolivia.

Vice Chairwoman of the International Young Democrat Union (IYDU), a global alliance of centre-right political youth organizations with 127 members from more than 81 different nations, it is the youth wing of the International Democrat Union.

María Lourdes Landivar has worked before as a senior executive of the Office of International Relations and Advisor in the Secretary of Institutional Coordination of the Government of Santa Cruz between 2008 and 2014.
